Hearth & Hollow is a micro-nursery and plant CSA located in Vancouver, WA.
Grow food. Live seasonally. Root where you are.
Hearth & Hollow helps local families grow their own food with seasonal plant starts, CSA shares, and simple guidance. We make gardening accessible, whether you’re planting your first lettuce or filling raised beds for the season.
Why Hearth & Hollow
Big box stores sell generic, often unhealthy plants grown with unidentified synthetic fertilizers. Our starts are grown in organic soil, from seed, right here in the Pacific Northwest.
When you buy from us, you’re not just getting plants. You’re supporting regenerative agricultural practices, keeping your dollars local, and ensuring you’re feeding your family clean, fresh food.
Our Story

Hi, I’m Dusti.
I’m a marketer by trade, but business has never been just about income for me – it’s about people, participation, and presence.
When the 2025 inauguration happened, a voice in my head kept saying: plant something.
Before I knew what I was doing, I was starting seeds in trays, building a greenhouse in my suburban backyard, and signing up for my first market.
But the truth is, growing food is in my blood. I grew up in Oregon summers snapping beans at a crowded kitchen table, trailing my great-grandpa down rows of raspberries and green beans while jars clinked in the canning line. My great-grandparents were Depression-era gardeners who treated a backyard like a small farm and taught us to plant, harvest, and put food by. Now I’m combining that heritage with years of building businesses and teaching online to make gardening simple, approachable, and doable.
Our Ethos
At Hearth & Hollow, we are committed to increasing food sovereignty and reducing waste.
Here’s how we do that:
- We source donated pots, repurpose trays and supplies, and lean on neighbor networks to reduce our consumption.
- We maintain this directory dedicated to helping people in Clark County find and access food.
- We participate in organizations and initiatives where we can share tools, knowledge, and guidance alongside the plants themselves.
